Today’s announcement follows the release of a similar application for Apple’s iPhone.

The new Android application, which is available free of charge, allows users to perform a wide-range of tests and checks, including DNS lookups, Reverse DNS lookups, WHOIS lookups, Ping and Latency checks, Tracerout searches, and more. Users are also able to access domain name related data, including Alexa rankings and DMOZ listings.
